Stories

Like a cozy medieval fantasy tale, Opaloid Kingdom tells the story of two mages.

The first one is the Azure Sorcerer that lives a simple life in Azure river town, growing herbs, foraging mushrooms, helping the villagers with the harvest and a little rain once in a while thanks to his water magic.

His calm lifestyle gets interrupted when the King summons him to the castle with a request that might put his life in danger.

The Crazy Wizard, a mage that lives in a fortress and used to serve the king as an advisor and ally is now the enemy of the whole crown, he lives in his secluded fortress where his monstrous pets keep him company, along with a whole company of dungeon gnomes which have built their own town inside and recognize the Crazy Wizard as his liege.

Opaloid Kingdom is an adventure game developed by JohnPeppermint and published by y-zo studio.

In terms of trophies, it is an easy and fast game:

• Because it is a cross-buy and cross-save game, you should play the PS4 version of it first.

• The game is straight forward, and most of the trophies are found on your main path:

  • Drink a Health potion that was dropped by something

  • Collect the gold coin in the secret zone

  • Kill 25 bunnies

  • Kill 25 wolves

  • Destroy a rock

  • Collect the coin guarded by rocks

  • Drink the herbal potion

  • Collect the coin guarded by the wolf

  • Ate a weird mushroom

  • Collect the coin guarded by three wolves

  • Kill 25 living trees

  • Collect the coin guarded by the reptiles

  • Managed to steal the coin in the tavern

  • Killed the guard that was watching the coin

• There are a few miscellaneous trophies as well:

  • Talk to a villager

  • Tried to attack villagers several times

  • Read a panel

  • Kill a turtle

  • Tried to attack guards

  • Speak to the king

• Once you have all of these trophies, go east from the castle to obtain the platinum

• After obtaining the platinum, quit the game, open the PS5 version, go to options, and use the cross-save option to import your PS4 save into the PS5 game, and obtain a new platinum.

• The game also has cross-save across all regions.
