The Shapeshifting Detective is a supernatural-noir murder mystery FMV game where you play as a detective who can shapeshift into other characters, allowing you to unlock secret conversations and private encounters.
Dorota Shaw is dead. And the prime suspects are three tarot readers with the uncanny ability to predict murder - or commit it. It’s your job to find out what else they know - but they won’t reveal their dark secrets to just anyone… Luckily, you can be anyone you want to be. Even the next victim.
The game features more than 1600 full HD video responses, a simple questioning interface with unique ‘delete’ mechanic, and a randomly chosen murderer at the start of the game.

The Shapeshifting Detective is an FMV game developed by D'Avekki Studios and published by Wales Interactive.
In terms of trophies, it is an easy game, which will take around 3 hours to complete:
First thing first when starting a new walkthrough, find out who the killer is:
In chapter 1, as Sam, ask Violet about Dorota, then ask her if she was at her house. If she says she didn't murder her, then she is the killer.
In chapter 1, as Lexie, ask Rayne, how he is, and if he starts talking about Dorota and Oscar, then he is the killer
If neither of these dialogues happens, then the killer is Zak
If the killer is Violet or Zak, then focus on getting all the trophies, which do not imply to show you are a shapeshifter, save Ellis, and find the killer
If the killer is Rayne, then focus on getting the trophies where you show people you are a shapeshifter, send an officer to protect Ellis, and do not find the killer so that Rayne kills you.
After finishing the game once, you will have the option to skip the text, so just spam the cross button until you find out who the killer is, and in case it is not the good category that you need, then quit and keep trying.
Also pay attention to the Chameleon trophy. Oscar can be shifted into for few chapters, and Poe only appears in the last chapter, so i would recommend shapeshift into Oscar as soon as possible, then in the last chapter visit Poe, so you can be able to shapeshift afterwards into him, do not talk with him, return to your room and shapeshift into the rest of the 8 characters before completing the last chapter.
The rest of the trophies are dialogue choices so follow the video walkthrough for all the correct choices.
In order to progress from one chapter to another, the goal is to talk as Sam with everyone and exhaust all dialogue options.
